![]() Just click on the HERO4 Session under devices, and you should see all of your videos and photos. Once you have that USB and battery symbol on the camera's screen, and you open up Image Capture, you should see your camera listed on the available devices. I suggest using Image Capture which is a free software that should already be on your Mac. Once that happens, you can use import softwares to import your footage. If you don't see this image on your screen when the camera is plugged in, press the WiFi button on the back of the camera once, and the USB and Battery symbol should appear. Open Launchpad on Mac > search ' image ' > select Image Capture > GoPro will appear in left sidebar. At this point, take a look at the small screen of the HERO4 Session and you should see a USB symbol and a battery symbol if it can connect to your computer. Connect: Plug USB-C cable into GoPro and Mac > turn GoPro on. When you plug the camera into the computer, you should see the solid red LED lights of the camera to indicate it is charging. The first thing to check is if the camera itself is going into USB mode. ![]() This should definitely work, but the camera will not pop up on your desktop as a mass storage device like most cameras.
